About Edmond Tapero
Edmond Tapero is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Accounting Department at the Owen Graduate School of Management, Vanderbilt University.
Edmond Tapero earned his PhD in Accounting from Tel Aviv University. He holds an MA in Economics with a thesis and an MA in Accounting from Bar-Ilan University in Israel. He also earned an MSc in Technology and Information Systems and an MBA from Tel Aviv University in Israel. Additionally, his BA in Economics and Accounting is from Bar-Ilan University.
His research focuses on the intersection of Management Accounting and Financial Accounting.
Before starting his PhD, Edmond worked at the Bank of Israel for nearly nine years, managing the collection and analysis of financial data from Israel’s commercial banking sector and editing the bank's financial statements. He also spent a year as an auditor at Ernst & Young (EY) and two years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
